İHD’s 22nd Ordinary General Assembly Has Been Held!

The 22nd Ordinary General Assembly of the Human Rights Association was held on 15–16 November 2025 at the Çankaya Municipality Yılmaz Güney Stage. After the Council Committee was elected, chaired by Mehmet Emin Aktar, the General Assembly began with over two hundred delegates in attendance, including representatives from political parties and civil society organisations. The Assembly evaluated the current human rights situation in Turkey and the ongoing peace process. The Assembly emphasised the human rights violations occurring in Turkey and continued with the presentation of the Central Executive Board’s activity and financial reports, as well as the reports of the central audit committee.
