Our friend Ali Tanrıverdi is a human rights defender. He was detained due to his thoughts, association activities and statements.
As human rights defenders, we invite the public prosecutors to abide by the UN Declaration on Human Rights Defenders and demand the immediate release of Ali Tanrıverdi, President of Mersin Branch of Human Rights Association (IHD) and other detained human rights defenders.
