We, as the Human Rights Association, strongly condemn the attack on the Bardo Museum that resulted in death of several civilians and took place on 18 March 2015, Wednesday in Tunis. The attack, which the ISIS claims responsibility, aims nothing but to harm democracy and human rights. It is violence and cannot be accepted.
We offer our sincere condolences to the families of the victims and their relatives. Also, we would like to express our solidarity with Tunisia. It is known that the ISIS has been conducting similar horrible actions and attacks also in Syria and Iraq just to create chaos and fear among people.
Those who are responsible for this brutal attack must be caught and tried.
The perpetrators must know that civil society in general and human rights movement in particular will continue to struggle against the darkness.
