We are deeply saddened… Our friend, attorney Ali Aydın, who previously served as Co-Chair of the Human Rights Association’s (İHD) İzmir Branch and regional representative of the association, lost his life today as a result of an attack. The incident is being followed up by our lawyer friends who are members of the İHD and by İzmir Bar Association. Once the details of the incident have been clarified, the necessary information will be shared with the public in accordance with the principle of investigative confidentiality.
