The first hearing of the trial within the scope of which İHD’s co-chairperson, Öztürk Türkdoğan, stands trial under the charge of membership in an illegal armed organization was held on 22 February 2022 before the Ankara 19th Heavy Penal Court. Many organizations, human rights defenders and jurists were present at the hearing. We would like to thank them all for their solidarity and support.
