The RojTV which has been the target of the ones who want to solve the Kurdish Issue with annihilation and deny of the Kurdish people since the day it had been founded, will be tried in Denmark on charges of being a terror organisation and with the closure demand on 15 August 2011.
The application of the prosecution office for the annulment of the licence of the RojTV was declined by the Denmark Radio Television Board. The Board declared that the footages of the broadcast of the RojTV that were send by the prosecution office as evidences were evaluated and they convicted that there is not any hint for connection with terror and/or inciting violence and hate.
In the light of these developments, the effort for the closure of the RojTV suggests that the prosecution office acted according to political needs. The obstacles in front of the universalization of human rights and law always have been the political powers that keep its own interests and their countries’ above the humanity.
The human rights and particularly the freedom of thought and expression have been under constant under attack to be restricted.
The verdict of the court which takes the human rights and particularly the freedom of thought and expression into account will not only contribute to the protection and development of the rights of the people of Denmark but also of the humanity.
We expect from the Government of Denmark to support the democratic resolution of the Kurdish Issue.
